The winners and losers of the WWE Royal Rumble have been announced and amid all the excitement there’s certainly a few highlights that stood out (and we’ve included a few here!)

Seth Rollins ‘The Architect’ has won the WWE men’s Royal Rumble in dramatic fashion after hobbling back onto his feet after being smacked down into the announcement table by his opponent Braun Strowman, also known as the ‘Monster Among Men’ given his 6ft 8 and 325 pound dimensions.

But Rollins managed to get back to his feet and eventually got Strowman out of the ring with a dramatic (and painful looking) curb stomp. Rollins will now be going on to perform at Wrestlemania the big event of the year.

The women’s Royal Rumble was no less impressive with redheaded firebrand ‘The Man’ aka Becky Lynch. Lynch was the final entrant into the match almost by accident after the actual contestant Lana sustained an injury during an altercation ahead of her husband Rusev’s match.

Lynch what’s more had already got a leg injury after a fight with Nia Jax outside the ring. But despite that Lynch managed to send her once-best-friend-now-enemy Charlotte Flair over the top rope and won.

This means that Lynch now gets to choose who she fights, either Ronda Rousey or Asuka. The rumour has been Rousey V Lynch for months and that’s a fight that will definitely draw the crowds.
