Being organised and detail focused might not seem like the sexiest trait in a partner and certainly not what you associate with passion and spur of the moment sexcapades. And yet a study published by the Journal of Sex Research<\/a> sought to look at people\u2019s personality traits in relation to sex lives within couples. And surprisingly only one personality trait could be shown to predict sexual behaviour and that was \u2018conscientiousness.\u2019<\/p>\n

Conscientious people tend to be the people who think of everything, who have back-up plans and snacks when you\u2019re out on a hike. And according to this study it makes them better lovers as well as more satisfied ones!<\/p>\n

Overall men who registered as conscientious said they had less erectile dysfunction problems whilst women who were deemed to have a conscientious personality trait were shown to have more orgasms and experience less pain.<\/p>\n

Apparently it turns out that if you\u2019re a planner and an organiser, a conscientious person who pays a lot of attention to detail, then supposedly you\u2019re someone is able both to make themselves available to the other person (which as we know makes for a better lover) whilst the detail-focused bit means you can ideate or bring into reality your fantasies. So bizarrely you could almost say organised people have the ability to be kinkier?<\/p>\n

Keeping that in mind someone being late to a date or not having paid attention to some detail might register in an entirely different way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
