Last week in honour of International Women\u2019s Day Pornhub published its statistics on what porn women are watching across the world. And as you would expect the results were both fascinating and somewhat predictable.<\/p>\n

As the graph shows, across the globe the most popular searched category of porn among women was (of course) \u2018Lesbian\u2019. Across the world the category Lesbian is 151% more popular among women as it is among men. The next most popular searches were Hentai, which people across Russia and China in particular favour, followed by Ebony which is mainly favoured in African countries. In fact, bizarrely people seemed to favour \u2018what they know\u2019 with British women 474% more likely to search British.<\/p>\n

But why is it then that around the world women, the majority of them straight, look up Lesbian porn? For the purposes of this article \u2018lesbian\u2019 porn doesn\u2019t mean porn involving lesbians or for a lesbian audience, but merely porn involving girl-on-girl.<\/p>\n

Like in the case of all porn really, it\u2019s about people\u2019s fantasies rather than what they actually want to do themselves or what they do in their day-to-day. So essentially women don\u2019t watch lesbian porn because they all have a desire to have sex with women<\/a>!<\/p>\n

The reality is also that a lot of porn is male-centric, focusing predominantly on fellatio, anal, and the all-famous \u2018cum shot\u2019. For women, whilst it might be interesting to look at any one of these things, the reality is that the shots do not focus on female pleasure and gratification. The only type of porn that really does is lesbian porn!\"Pornhub<\/p>\n

In lesbian porn the main focus is in fact cunnilingus as well as foreplay, two things that have been scientifically shown to heighten women\u2019s chances of having orgasms. There\u2019s a lot more time given to exploration and enjoyment of touch and vaginal and clitoral stimulation, something that is not as common in male-centric porn.<\/p>\n
